Church of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles

Inside is the funerary monument of Doña Luisa de Borja y Aragón, Duchess of Villahermosa.
Located in the center of the walled area of the town, the temple was built in the 14th century on top of a primitive Romanesque construction from the mid-12th century. The medieval building consisted of a single nave with three sections.
In the 16th century, the space was enlarged, coinciding with the construction of the ducal palace of Villahermosa, at which time Luisa de Borja y Aragón ordered a passageway to be built, which runs through several blocks connecting the palace with a gallery inside church.
The temple is converted on a single nave floor plan with three sections and a polygonal head, with a series of chapels attached to the nave between the buttresses, taking advantage of the 14th century construction.
The second great extension takes place during the last third of the 18th century, where the transept and head are made straight in the direction of the nave, forming a Latin cross. In addition, a new gallery is built attached to the right side of the header, connected to the Turmo family's home, which disappeared in the 19th century reforms.
Inside is the funerary monument of Luisa de Borja y Aragón, Duchess of Villahermosa, in Neo-Plateresque style, made at the beginning of the 20th century.
