Costabili Palace

Evidence of the original 16th century pictorial decoration remains on the ceiling of the so-called Treasure Room.

Its construction began in 1500 at the request of Antonio Costabili, ambassador of the Este to the family of Ludovico il Moro, the palace is an important work of Biagio Rossetti who left it unfinished.

Noteworthy is the marble decoration of the protruding pilasters and the steps of the honorary step, the work of Gabriele Frisoni.
