House of Ludovico Ariosto

House of Ludovico Ariosto
Built in the last stage of his life, which he dedicated to the definitive edition of Orlando Furioso.
This house was built by the poet in the last stage of his life, around 1528 (he died in 1533), where it was dedicated to the third and definitive edition of Orlando Furioso, which appeared in 1532.
An inscription on the simple facade reads: "The house is small, but suitable for me, clean, not taxed and bought only with my money."
Inside there is a small museum dedicated to the poet, where the bronze reproduction of his inkwell, some editions of his works and the many medals that represent him are preserved.
Behind the house is the garden created by the poet himself.
