Tower del Mal Paso

Tower del Mal Paso
The tower, located on the top of a mound northwest of the current town, is part of the first traces of human occupation in Castellnovo.
An Aeneolithic burial was found in a 27-meter-long cave and at the top, next to the tower, are the remains of an Iberian settlement, which was left uninhabited around the 3rd century,
Its strategic position meant that the place was used as a watchtower until the Middle Ages, as a link with the castle of Segorbe.
